This was a popular movie released in 2000 that made a huge positive impact on society and showed us what could happen if people pay a favour forward and not back to the person who did the favour for them. It starts a ripple effect of favours that soon turn into a tsunami. I love this idea of doing favours or helping people without expecting anything in return for myself. It is absolutely a selfless act, one that does you no direct good, but helps someone else.
Of course, this is what it looks like on the outside, but it's not true. When you do a selfless act by helping someone who is in need, you feel absolute euphoria. I cannot explain the feeling with words, it is one of those things that you have to experience for yourself.
Why don't you turn this into a personal project. Next time you see someone, even a perfect stranger, who needs help with something, just do it; then watch the feelings that will take over you. Your soul will be uplifted, you will be overcome with joy, and you will have a huge smile on your face.
