Who to invoke?

You do not have to belong to a certain religious background to invoke an archetype. For example, you do not have be a Nordic person to invoke Thor, the Norse God of Thunder. Thor or any other archetype or a saint will help anyone who requests their help. Archetypes and saints do not discriminate.

Call Aphrodite for affairs of the heart and your love life.

Call Etem Dede for a speedy recovery of lost items.

Call St. Jude for "hopeless" situations.

Call St. Francis of Assisi for help with animal/pet problems (when they need healing or they need to behave better.)

There are many, many archetypes and saints you can call on. Do a Google search. Choose one that applies to your situation, or a name that resonates with you.

Calling for an archetype or a saint for help does not mean you are not calling GOD for help. First and always ask God for help. He might direct you to work with an archetype for the kind of thing you need help with. Think of archetypes and saints as "specialized helpers from the other side."

An archetype, being a powerful force, can help thousands of people at the same time. They are on a different dimension; their time and space is not linear as ours, so do not think that you have to take a number when calling upon one. The archetype can help everyone at the same time.
